Swan Pond is a nice lake to visit. A golf course close to Swan Pond is Harwichport Golf Club, and a perfect nearby hotel is Corsair OceanFront Resorts. Through the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Swan Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Swan Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Herring

Near Swan Pond you locate the Great Island Trail which is a good hiking trail; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Inman Road Beach.
