If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Sutton Pond. While you're here at Sutton Pond you can take a hike along the Ross Trail; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear and Branch. But wait, there's more to do next to Sutton Pond. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Auburn is a tremendous choice, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Sutton Falls.

| | For the duration of the long summer days, highs generally are in the 80's at Sutton Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Sutton Pond all through the winter usually drop into the 10's. Just can't get enough of Sutton Pond. Quinebaug River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and do visit Number One Pond, it's a pretty lake. Camping is available at Holbrook's | |

Camping Grounds, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Blackstone National Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Worcester here at Sutton Pond, and at Sutton Pond you
can make out Freeland Hill. All our national parks are great places to go to, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Munyan Trail. There
is a wonderful hiking trail near Sutton Pond called the Walkabout Trail, and Cedar Swamp is a swamp near Sutton Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A fine location to camp here at Sutton Pond is Sutton Falls Camping Area, and Sutton
Falls Dam is not far at all from Sutton Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Sutton Pond a wet place; November is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. After a long day outdoors
Econo Lodge Sutton is a great place to spend a night or two, and since you're here, you could also pop by pretty Manchaug Pond.
