Here at Sunset Lake you can catch a glimpse of Pine Hill; a swamp like Arnold Meadow close to Sunset Lake has lots of exciting things to see. Sunset Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Prospect Lake Park is a wonderful place to camp nearby. Wessagusset Beach is a beach in the neighborhood of Sunset Lake that you can have a look at; a trip to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is worthwhile. spot to get some rest. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Why not explore Old Quincy Reservoir Dam since you're here, and after a long day outdoors Sheraton Braintree Hotel is a great location to spend a night or two.
Sunset Lake is a good place of typical rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Ames Pond near
Sunset Lake; nothing beats kicking back at Wollaston Beach. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Sunset Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Sunset Lake tend to be in the 20's.
