Why not stop by Sunset Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. There's some interesting stuff to spot at Furnace Lake Dam near Sunset Lake, and swamps don’t sound that great but Gobernor Meadow right next door to Sunset Lake is rather great. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Charles River, and Ancient Marinere is a good place to get some rest. dry warm beds await you at Renaissance Boston Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place. You could also explore Mann Pond if you're here at Sunset Lake; it's close by. Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very great place to
pop by close to Sunset Lake, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Blue Hills.
Through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Sunset Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the
50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Sunset Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
