Sunset Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in close proximity to Sunset Lake. Golf can be played at Farm Neck Golf Club, and Oak Bluffs Town Beach is a beach nearby that you can stop by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a beautiful lake called Farm Pond near Sunset Lake; a tremendous nearby hotel is Pequot Hotel.

| | lakes are such serene sites, why not explore Oak Bluffs Harbor. If you came for an overnight stay Martha's Vineyard Family Campground is a great place to camp, and a great beach nearby is Eastville Beach. Telegraph Hill can be observed from Sunset Lake, and East Chop Flats is right here at Sunset Lake.

winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while Sunset Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Sunset Lake regularly gets lots of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow while February
is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Farm Pond Marshes is an interesting swamp near Sunset Lake; East Chop is reasonably close.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Marthas Vineyard Campground, and after a long day outdoors M V Surfside Motel is a fine place to spend a night or two.

It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them. But everything else is pretty chill.... |
