Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Assabet River, and why not have a look at Central Street Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Northport Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Charles River. the 80's; the night is rather colder of course, usually in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sudbury Pond fall into the 10's. Just can't
get enough of Sudbury Pond. If time allows, Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth taking a look at, and swamps like Pod Meadow are fun to take a look at. The high level of precipitation makes
Sudbury Pond a reasonably wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July.
