It's always fun to stop by Stump Hill. Stump Hill really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. At Stump Hill you can catch a sight of Deadhorse Hill; Stump Hill is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wood Lot Campground is a great local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to Stump Hill has to offer. Head up to Pine Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Jamesville Pond since you're here at Stump Hill; it's nearby, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Auburn is a fine choice. Hiking along the Munyan Trail is perfect fun, and camping at Sutton Falls Camping Area is always a great experience. pop by, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great spot close by. Stump Hill frequently gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the
month with the least amount of precipitation. This is a popular site for people from Worcester, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Border Trail. All through the days of summer at Stump Hill temperatures
are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Stump Hill tend to be in the 0's.
