Prospect Lake Park is a wonderful campground nearby, and if you get bored of Straits Pond you could also check out close by Sanctuary Pond. A glorious location to check out in the neighborhood of Straits Pond is Black Rocks; a lake nearby is Foundry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Rattlesnake Run is right next door to Straits Pond and is always a diversion to go to, and what would winter be without some skiing at Blue Hills. For the period of the days of summer

| | at Straits Pond highs are mostly in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows at Straits Pond through the wintertime usually descend into the 20's. folks of Boston-Cambridge-Quincy like to hang out nearby, and after a long day outdoors Kimball S By The Sea-Cohasset Harbor Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two. Do pay a visit to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation
Area if you're here at Straits Pond, and Cohasset Tidal Rip is a great whitewater spot close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Straits Pond. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Black Rock Beach, and
Norwell Campsites is a tremendous local campground. The vista of pretty Atlantic Hill near Straits Pond is tremendous. Swamps like Great Swamp are fun to stop at, and Clarion Nantasket Beach Resort Hotel and Spa is a magnificent
site to get some rest. Straits Pond Dam is not far at all from Straits Pond, and there's a forest here called Whitney Woods.
