This lake is so wonderful. Wicassic Falls is always fun to check out; the top of Chestnut Hill is easily seen from Stony Brook Reservoir. Just can't get enough of Stony Brook Reservoir. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Stony Brook Dam in the neighborhood of Stony Brook Reservoir; don't miss out on a tremendous swamp; Tadmuck       Swamp is right here at Stony Brook Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. McIntyre is a very popular ski area nearby, and Scotty Hollow is around here, and is a great place. So many fun things to do at Stony Brook Reservoir, so little time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Nabnasset Pond. Stony Brook Reservoir is a pretty wet place mostly with much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's                  the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is September. High temperatures at Stony Brook Reservoir all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
