This lake is so wonderful. Westford Depot Dam has good water scenery and it's near Stony Brook Reservoir, and you can run the rapids of Concord River. Any time is a wonderful time at Stony Brook Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. Take a side spree to Blue Brook; McIntyre has great slopes and a friendly staff. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Stony Brook Reservoir is Assabet River. There's so                  much to do here at Stony Brook Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wyman's Beach is a magnificent spot for that. At Stony Brook Reservoir throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Burges Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore, and the panorama of Blakes Hill is scenic.
