Stony Brook Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Get soaked paddling on Deerfield River, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Spring Trail. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Stony Brook Reservoir has it all. After a long day outdoors The Economy Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and close to Stony Brook Reservoir you stumble on a golf course called Orchards Golf Course Superintendant. | | who don’t like to have fun. A splendid vista of delightful Dry Brook Hill is available from Stony Brook Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Connecticut River. The Richard Trail is a great hiking trail near Stony Brook Reservoir, and the scenery at Marcalus Manufacturing Company Dam is stunning. Here at Stony Brook Reservoir there are plenty of folks from Springfield, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Link Trail. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves South Plains; why not a little side journey to Batchelor Brook. If you get bored of Stony Brook Reservoir, you could also have a look at close by Buttery Brook Tributary Reservoir, and
while you're here here do go to nearby Sandy Beach. Upper Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and a good close by hotel is Ivory Creek Bed And Breakfast. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Stony Brook
Reservoir reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Stony Brook Reservoir night low temperatures through the wintertime
are in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Stony Brook Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Windy Acres Campground is a tremendous location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Stony Brook Reservoir is great enough
to spend more than a day at, Rainbow Motel is a great local campground, and Blandford has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. Stony Brook Reservoir is a rather wet place commonly with a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January.
