Spurr Lake is always a pleasure to visit. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Spurr Lake. The slopes of Catamount are so inviting noone can resist, and here at Spurr Lake you can see Mount Bushnell. Why not camp at Camp Half Moon since you're here at Spurr Lake, and Ski Butternut is a great local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Willard Brook while you're here at Spurr Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Chambery Inn.

| | The annual rain here at Spurr Lake is about average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Race Brook Falls is a wonderful local attraction, and a lake close by is Fawn Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Indian Trail, and you can run the rapids of Housatonic River.

and the Elbow Trail offers hiking at its best. Spurr Lake is not the only site close by, Guilder Pond is a close by lake, and Great Barrington Days Inn is a fine location to get some rest.
Any time is a fine time at Spurr Lake
if you go for the outdoors. Spurr Lake is right by the Northrop Trail, and there's always Trout Pond Dam to explore close to Spurr Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Spurr Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are
in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Spurr Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Egremont Country Club, and there's whitewater on Bash Bish Brook for all you thrill seekers.
