This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a tremendous little spree to Spectacle Pond Brook, and a lake nearby is Royal Pond. Good hiking is available along the County Road Trail, and at Spectacle Ponds you can make out Allen Mountain.

check out Abbey Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - West Branch, and the skiing at Ski Butternut is good. This place
is unbeatable, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do near Spectacle Ponds. After a long day outdoors Pilgrim Inn is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Otis Ridge is reasonably
near.
Spectacle Ponds is a wet location that gets a large amount of rain; August is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Upper Spectacle Pond Dam next to Spectacle
Ponds there are some exciting things to see; whitewater paddling is perfect on Fall River. So many entertaining things to do at Spectacle Ponds, so little time. Lee Super 8 Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Wild Cat Trail.
