A visit to South Reservoir is always a good idea. South Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is August. | | adore South Reservoir. South Reservoir is not far at all from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy; an attention-grabbing thing to visit right next door to South Reservoir is South Reservoir Dam. At South Reservoir you can catch a sight of Bear Hill. Lakes? Sure, Wrights Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Woburn, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Bradford. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very pleasant spot to check out close to South Reservoir, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Stoneham Oaks Golf Course. Since you might be in a lake visiting
mood you can always have a look at close by Middle Reservoir, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Charles River. Summer at South Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the
sun is down it descends down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at South Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Blue Hills is a very popular ski area
in the neighborhood, and Concord River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. Take a side trip to Aberjona River; you don't should go far to enjoy Brooks-Parkhurst Town Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps are attention-grabbing
sites and Turkey Swamp next to South Reservoir is no exception. There's so much to do here at South Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Micah is a great site for that. Stay the night at Camp Cedar, and this is a wonderful location in the shadow of the Middlesex Fells.
