Massachusetts has many beautiful lakes and Smith Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Smith Pond called the Munyan Trail, and at Smith Pond you can see Moreland Hill. Going for a hike on the Ross Trail is always a good adventure, and good skiing awaits you at Pine Ridge. Any time is a great time at Smith Pond if you love the outdoors. This site is excellent, just check out all the cool stuff to do near Smith Pond. It's always magnificent to go to The Cascade, and a picturesque lake like Cook Pond is a tremendous spot to take a look at. There are fine places to explore along the Border Trail; after a long day outdoors Emerald Towers is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. you can camp at Sutton Falls Camping Area; skiing at Wachusett Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay La Residence is a pleasant choice, and Smith Pond is a
fine place to visit for more than one day, Wood Lot Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. Patch Reservoir is a brilliant lake near Smith Pond, and at Smith Pond you always meet someone from Worcester. High temperatures at Smith
Pond throughout the summer are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Smith Pond.
If you're
a golfer then a nice close by course is Green Hill Golf Course, and great water scenery is available at Patch Reservoir Dam close to Smith Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Smith Pond a reasonably wet site; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest.
