This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Simmons Pond you locate Hyannis Point, and Hyannis Harbor is delightful. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Simmons Pond. Cape Cod National Seashore is a very fine place to go to near Simmons Pond. A great site to stop by near Simmons Pond       is Gardiners Rock, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Halls Creek. If you need a place to stay Cape Winds Resort (Vri) is a wonderful choice; you can hit the beach if you want, Keyes Memorial Beach is practically right here. Hyannis Port Beach is in the neighborhood of Simmons Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and lakes are such calm sites, why not stop by Fawcetts Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Resort and                  Conference Center at Hyannis is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and lots of folks from Barnstable Town come here. Take a look at close by Squaw Island Marshes, and if you came to camp Yarmouth Campgrounds is a good place to do that. Any time is a fine time at Simmons Pond if you fancy the outdoors.
