Why not check out Hyannis Harbor if you're here, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Keyes Memorial Beach. Any time is a fine time at Simmons Pond if you adore the outdoors. This site is so good, just check out all the amusing stuff to do right next door to Simmons Pond. There's some flowing water nearby, Halls Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here, and Simmons Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Yarmouth Campgrounds is a great local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Simmons Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. | |

The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Simmons Pond. Near Simmons Pond you hit upon good spots like Gardiners Rock, and if you need a site to stay Cape Winds Resort (Vri) is a good
choice.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Simmons Pond a wet spot; most of the rain falls through November while July is frequently the driest month. After a long day outdoors Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis
is a delightful location to spend a night or two; a delightful location to camp here at Simmons Pond is Bass River Trailer Park. Simmons Pond is not the only location close by, Dunns Pond is a close by lake; this is a popular place
for folks from Barnstable Town.
Looking for something close to Simmons Pond? Upper Gate Pond is around here, and there are swamps here too, Squaw Island Marshes is around here. At Simmons Pond you can catch a glimpse of Sunset Hill, and you can hit the beach if you want, Hyannis Port Beach is practically right here.
