This is a popular site for people from Worcester; you can take a little spree to Silver Lake Dam since you're here at Silver Lake. Silver Lake is a quite wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is September. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Ross Trail is always a perfect       adventure, and camping at Mass Health & Fitness is always a brilliant experience. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Silver Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Miscoe Brook is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear and Branch. So many enjoyable things to do here at Silver Lake, too good to be true. George Hill is a peak you can                  catch a glimpse of from Silver Lake, and if you get bored of Silver Lake you could also explore nearby West River Reservoir. Don't leave Silver Lake without first going for a hike along the Walkabout Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Assabet River. High temperatures at Silver Lake all through the summertime are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Silver Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Silver Lake is Holbrook's Camping Grounds, and Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest. If you want to hit the beach, Point Rok Beach is around here; there are glorious places to explore along the Munyan Trail.
