Silver Lake frequently gets a great deal of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is September. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites, and you can go for a hike on the Munyan Trail. One of the overriding characteristics of the surroundings of Silver Lake is George Hill, and a day at striking Point       Rok Beach next to Silver Lake is a pleasant thing to do. Just can't get enough of Silver Lake. After a long day outdoors Westborough Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; paddling on Assabet River is so much fun. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Silver Lake. A pleasant spot to camp here at Silver Lake is Holbrook's Camping Grounds; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Clear and Branch. Camping at Mass Health & Fitness is always a pleasant                  experience; a spree to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. Silver Lake is not the only place close by, Cider Millpond is a close by lake; going for a hike on the Ross Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Miscoe Brook, as expected you could also explore West River Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. Westboro Country Club is a golf course near Silver Lake, and folks from Worcester love to come here. For the duration of the days of summer at Silver Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Silver Lake during the winter regularly plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
