Silver Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites is a magnificent
place to camp nearby, and on a pretty day you get a good view of Court Hill from Silver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Silver Lake without first going for a hike along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail, and Silver Lake is
not the only place nearby, West Branch Housatonic River Reservoir is a nearby lake. You truly must go for Silver Lake. A delightful nearby hotel is The Yankee Suites Extended Stay, and why not head up to Catamount and strap some skis
to your feet.
In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River; Pontoosuc School is a glorious place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect sites
