While you're here at Silver Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Pittsfield, and you can run the rapids of Konkapot Brook. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at The Yankee Suites Extended Stay, and you have to stop at Rice School when you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Lake is not the only spot close by, Goodrich Pond is a close by lake, and hiking along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail is pleasant fun. For

The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Silver Lake tend to be in the 10's. You definitely have to have a thing about Silver Lake. along the Taconic Skyline Trail, and Crowne Plaza Hotel PITTSFIELD-BERKSHIRES is a splendid place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Silver Lake, you could also have a look at nearby West Branch Housatonic
River Reservoir, and needless to say Brattle Brook is a pretty stream that is worth going to. There's some exciting stuff to distinguish at Bel Air Dam in close proximity to Silver Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck;
Catamount is quite near. All the water falling down from the sky makes Silver Lake a wet location; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Green River is a splendid whitewater spot right
next door to Silver Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Silver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Valley Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Near Silver Lake you hit upon great places like Pontoosuc
School, and Silver Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites is a good place to camp nearby. Pontoosuc Lake Country Club is a golf course next to Silver Lake, and do take a hike on the Turner Trail.
