Time spent at Quissett Beach near Siders Pond is always good, and a great vista of pretty Riddle Hill is available. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Siders Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Coolfont Resort is a brilliant place for that. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn CAPE COD-FALMOUTH is a great choice, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Little Sippewisset Marsh is right nearby. Whohoo, so many amusing things in

| | one place! Siders Pond is so good! Dry warm beds await you at Inn on the Square, and you can spend the day on the beach at Falmouth Beach. Summertime highs at Siders Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Siders Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Paul | |

Harney Golf Course; lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Shivericks Pond. Siders Pond gets a good deal of water; November is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Siders Pond is perfect
enough to spend more than a day at, Sippewissett Campgrounds-Cabins is a perfect local campground, and since you're here you should take a look at Falmouth Inner Harbor. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Falmouth Harbor, and a scenic lake like Salt Pond is a great location to check out.

 | 12 miles away It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them.  | 18 miles away I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
Ellis Haven Family Campground
 | 19 miles away Ellis Haven was my summer vacation every year from 1957 to 1967. I'm 58 years old now and my best memories are of Ellis Haven. Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds. It is very family oriented and extremely clean. The pond is fabulous for swimming and great for fishing too.... |
