This lake is so wonderful. A perfect site to camp here at Shubael Pond is Dunroamin' Trailer Park, and beaches are great and Long Beach is no exception. A day at Dowses Beach in the neighborhood of Shubael Pond is time well spent, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Round Pond is just a very short       distance away. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Hamblin Pond is one of those nearby, and Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course is a great golf course close by. Shubael Pond is a wet location that gets lots of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July on the other hand is the driest. All through the days of summer at Shubael Pond highs are mostly in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.                  The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Shubael Pond throughout the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Santuit Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Camping at Otis Trailer Village John's Pond Campgro is always a great experience; La Plaza Del Sol is a good site to get some rest. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site.
