Custom Search     Shoe Pond   I fished the shoe pond since I was a kid (60 yrs ago) and caught huge carp,big perch and lots of catfish and eels! Aguy I knew well put about a dozen bass he caught at Wenham lake into the Shoe pond. Within 4 yrs the pond was loaded with bass some of which were 5 lbs. Years later I caught one out of the pond that weighed in at 8 lbs!! I always used nightcrawlers for bait!
