If you need a place to stay Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites is a great choice; if you came for an overnight stay Prospect Lake Park is a magnificent place to camp. At Shoe Pond throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Shoe Pond tend to be in the 10's. The top of Brimble Hill is easily seen from Shoe Pond, and Cape Ann Camp

Shoe Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most while August is frequently the driest month. Wenham Country Club, and do stop by Beverly Reservoir, it's a delightful lake. Be careful coming to Shoe Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Hawthorne Hotel, and Dane Street Beach is rather
close by if you're in a beach type of mood. This lake is so wonderful. Bass River is a stream that you may come across during your stay, and you can take a little tour to Shoe Pond Dam since you're here at Shoe Pond. If you want
a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Shoe Pond. A splendid spot next to Shoe Pond is Lobster Rocks; during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy for sure. What would winter be without
some skiing at Blue Hills. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a perfect location right next door to Shoe Pond; Beverly Harbor is not far at all. While you're here at Shoe Pond, you could also visit gorgeous Kellehers Pond; Cohasset Tidal Rip has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
