A nice nearby hotel is Salem Waterfront Hotel and Suites, and do schedule some time to explore Beverly Harbor if you have a chance. If you come at the right time of year, Cohasset Tidal Rip offers some great whitewater; on a pretty day you can check out Dane Street Beach. The skiing at Blue Hills is brilliant. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Fort Pickering Beach       is in the vicinity of Shoe Pond and is a delightful beach to pop by, and at Shoe Pond you can catch a sight of Brimble Hill. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bass River, and the scenery at Shoe Pond Dam is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Bradford is just what you need; Shoe Pond is not far at all from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy. This lake is so wonderful. Beverly Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. You'll need                  more than a day to explore everything Shoe Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cape Ann Camp Site. Do pay a visit to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area since you're here at Shoe Pond, and since you're here, you might as well go to Lobster Rocks. Stay the night at Prospect Lake Park; if you get bored of Shoe Pond you could also stop by nearby Kellehers Pond. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Shoe Pond. If you need a location to stay Hawthorne Hotel is a good choice, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Wenham Country Club. Shoe Pond typically gets a good deal of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here, and August meanwhile is the driest month.
