Shinglemill Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Here at Shinglemill Pond there are plenty of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy. Head up to Blue Hills and strap some skis to your feet. Lakes are good; Hackett Pond is a lake that's near Shinglemill Pond. Take a little journey to Ben Mann Brook while you're here at Shinglemill Pond, and don't miss out on a spree to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area while you're here. This

the 10's. Any time is a great time at Shinglemill Pond if you adore the outdoors. Swamps don’t sound that fine but Hell Swamp in close proximity to Shinglemill Pond is relatively fine, and you can stay the night at Norwell Campsites.

Tidal Rip. There's so much to do here at Shinglemill Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Robins Pond Camp Ground is a great spot for that. While you're here at Shinglemill Pond you can play some golf at Rockland Golf Course,
and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Hatch Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Walnut Hill is a peak you can catch a sight of from Shinglemill Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn ROCKLAND.

Looks like it's still a beautiful place to take a vacation....I have been going to Ellis Haven for 50 years. It is definately one of my favorite campgrounds.  | 18 miles away I was interested in a rental on Widgeon Pond. I stayed there many years ago and loved it....I have a cottage on Widgeon Pond. Nice, quiet and relaxing pond with reasonable fishing. Swimming is nice but sometimes the water is really high, almost to the extent where there is no beach at all. Some people have small parties or gatherings, but there aren't any loud parties. Very calming place to chill out.... |
