and here at Shiner Pond you can see Barber Hill. This lake is so wonderful. There are wonderful sites to discover along the Parker Trail, and after a long day outdoors Colonial Hotel is a great site to spend a night or two.

pleasant site for whitewater paddling close to Shiner Pond is Millers River, and Cunningham Pond is a splendid lake nearby. People from Worcester love to come to Shiner Pond, and there are other sites here than Shiner Pond, for example
Perley Brook Reservoir.
Going for a hike on the Harling Trail is always a nice adventure, and why not a little side tour to Baker Brook. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Contoocook River, and why not head up to Pine Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. But wait, there's more to do close to Shiner Pond. Go for a hike on the White Dot Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Gardner Municipal Golf Course is a great way to kill some time.
