Sheomet Lake is a nice lake to visit. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Ashuelot River - South Branch, and not far from Sheomet Lake you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Sheomet Lake Dam. Best Western Sovereign Hotel is a good site to get some rest; there are other places here than Sheomet Lake, for example Johnsonian Pond. Tully Meadow is a beautiful place any time of year, and there are tremendous spots to discover along the White Arrow

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Sheomet Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Sheomet Lake throughout the winter regularly sink into the 0's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place!
