Summertime at Shank Painter Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Shank Painter Pond. There are magnificent sites to discover along the Beach Forest Trail, and a pleasant close by hotel is Four Gables Cottages and Stes. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Oxford Guesthouse is a good place to spend a night or two, and Long Point Marshes is an attention-grabbing swamp near Shank Painter Pond. A lot of rain falls at Shank Painter Pond; during November this area sees the                  most rain while July is typically the driest month. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not have a look at Bennett Pond near Shank Painter Pond, and the Dunes of the Provincelands is a major characteristic of the vicinity close by.
