What a nice lake Shank Painter Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Dunes' Edge Camp Ground, and Four Gables Cottages and Stes is a great place to get some rest. The Great Island Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Shank Painter Pond. The summits of the Dunes of the Provincelands add much beauty to the area around Shank Painter Pond; a magnificent site to camp here at Shank Painter Pond is Coastal Acres Camping Court.

here at Shank Painter Pond, too great to be true. After a long day outdoors The Oxford Guesthouse is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two; the view of Dunes of the Provincelands is pretty.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a look at close by Long Point Marshes, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Race Point Beach.
