In Massachusetts there are many beautiful lakes, Shaker Reservoir is one of them. A B&B in the Berkshires is a great place to get some rest, and you're sure to come across some wonderful people from Pittsfield here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shaker Reservoir a wet location; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. | | hiking trail, and why not stop by nearby Ford Brook while you're here at Shaker Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bousquet is near Shaker Reservoir, and why not camp at Bonnie Brae Cabins and Campsites while you're here at Shaker Reservoir. good, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Konkapot Brook. If you get bored of Shaker Reservoir, you could also explore nearby Cranberry Pond, and a great close by hotel is Ramada Limited Inn & Suites Pittsfield. This lake
is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Turner Trail is always a brilliant adventure; Richmond Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. A wonderful site to camp here at Shaker Reservoir is Privacy Campground, and a wonderful
view of delightful Doll Mountain is available. High temperatures at Shaker Reservoir during the summer months are in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in
the 20's while Shaker Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Shaker Reservoir. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Shaker Reservoir called the Taconic Skyline Trail, and Pontoosuc Lake Country Club is a golf course nearby.

 | 13 miles away this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed... |
