If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Shaker Reservoir. Shaker Reservoir gets much water; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Hiking along the Taconic Skyline Trail is wonderful fun, and if you need a location to stay Ramada Limited Inn & Suites Pittsfield is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is pleasant at Bousquet; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Brickhouse Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Ford Brook is a stream you can explore during your stay; Mud Pond is a nice lake nearby. A golf course right next door to Shaker Reservoir is Pontoosuc Lake Country Club; camping is available | |

Going for a hike along the Turner Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and float down the rapids of Konkapot Brook in a kayak. And that's not all you can do here at Shaker Reservoir.
If you come at the right time of year, Green River offers some great whitewater. There are plenty of folks from Pittsfield here at Shaker Reservoir, and a day on the slopes of Catamount is just what you need.
You just can't envision
the amount of outdoors cool things the area close to Shaker Reservoir has to offer. There are other places here than Shaker Reservoir, for example Cranberry Pond, and one of the principal traits of the surroundings of Shaker Reservoir
