What a nice lake Second Pond is. Summer at Second Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Second Pond descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a tremendous national park, and get covered with water paddling on Charles River.

| | All the water falling down from the sky makes Second Pond a wet site; all through November this area sees the most rain while August is usually the driest month. Looking for something right next door to Second Pond? First Pond is close at hand, and if you need a location to stay Econo Lodge Malden is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. some rest. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Second Pond. An afternoon playing golf at Bellevue Golf Club is always a diversion, and Lorraine Park Campground is a splendid campground nearby. An interesting
thing to check out close to Second Pond is Griswold Pond Dam, and Revere Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. If you want to hit the beach, Orient Heights Beach is close at hand, and Eagle Rock is a peak you
can observe from Second Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Second Pond. Here at Second Pond there are plenty of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, and Richs Meadow Swamp is an out
of the ordinary swamp close to Second Pond. Second Pond is not the only spot close by, Long Pond is a close by lake, and hey, Gotta ski right? Bradford is a good place to do that. Very stunning scenery and pleasant skiing is what
you get at Blue Hills, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bennetts Pond Brook is a stream you can check out during your stay.
