During the warmest time of the year at Searles Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings       highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Searles Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. On a lovely day you obtain a view of Daddy Frye Hill from Searles Pond, and a pleasant close by hotel is Comfort Suites Andover. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Stevens Pond while you're here at Searles Pond; it's nearby, and golf can be played at Merrimack Golf Club. Searles Pond is not the only place close by, Hills Pond is a close                  by lake; Searles Pond Dam is a picturesque site. But wait, there's more to do close to Searles Pond. Searles Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Sanborn Shore Acres is a great site to camp nearby, and a journey to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is recommended.
