If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Scout Pond. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Richard Trail; you can run the rapids of Westfield River - North Branch. A lot of rainfall falls at Scout Pond; most of the rain falls all through November, and the driest month is February. Summertime highs at Scout Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.

There's whitewater on Swift River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; why not head up to Berkshire East and strap some skis to your feet.
Going for a hike along the Link Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood;
Berkshire Park Camping Area is a great campground nearby. After a long day outdoors The Hotel Northampton is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and there's some flowing water nearby, Baker Brook is a stream you can go to during
your stay. Just can't get enough of Scout Pond. Not far from Scout Pond, you'll discover Highland Lakes which is a beautiful lake, and at Scout Pond you always meet someone from Springfield.
Scout Pond is a great place to visit
for more than one day, Peppermint Park Camping Resort is a great place to camp nearby; a splendid nearby hotel is Autumn Inn. Places like Fisk Meadow are pleasant to check out, and the top of Bofat Hill is easily made out from Scout Pond.
