    If you are in Essex county it's always a good idea to stop by Scotts Pond. Scotts Pond ordinarily gets lots of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is August. Head up to Blue Hills and strap some skis to your feet, and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a great local destination. A day at beautiful Revere Beach right next door to Scotts Pond is a good thing to do, and Bradford is a very popular  
   ski area around here.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Prankers Pond is near Scotts Pond, and if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a magnificent sight of Baker Hill from Scotts Pond. Summertime highs at Scotts Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Scotts Pond are in the 10's.

               Scotts Pond. You're probably addicted to lakes, Walden Pond is one of those close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cohasset Tidal Rip. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at Walden Pond Outlet Dam while you're here; a fine close by hotel is Boston-Days Inn Saugus/Logan Airport. This place, Scotts Pond, it just has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A round of golf at nearby Cedar Glen Golf Course is a great way to kill some time; Scotts Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lorraine Park Campground is a nice local campground.
Don't miss out on a nice swamp; Pines River Marshes is right here at Scotts Pond, and do visit Beaver Brook since you're here at Scotts Pond. On a delightful day you can visit Orient Heights Beach right next door to Scotts Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy here at Scotts Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express SAUGUS (LOGAN AIRPORT) is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Prospect Lake Park is a delightful spot to do that.
