This lake is so wonderful. During your stay at Schoolhouse Pond do go to nearby Saints Landing Beach; since you're here you can take a hike along the Red Maple Swamp Trail. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Buttonbush Trail, needless to say you could also check out       Cobbs Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Schoolhouse Pond gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most while July is usually the driest month. A lake close by is Griffiths Pond; a tour to Cape Cod National Seashore is worthwhile. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Schoolhouse Pond while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and                  during the dark hours in the winter at Schoolhouse Pond temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ocean Edge Resort and Club is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Camp Favorite is a pleasant site to do that. You don’t have to go far from Schoolhouse Pond to make out the water at Lower Mill Pond Dam; unsurprisingly Stony Brook flows through this region. Dry warm beds await you at Brewster Green Resort (Vri); a golf course close by is Cranberry Valley Golf Course. Taking a little visit to close by Clarks Point is a perfect idea, and camping at Sweetwater Forest Camping Resort is always a delightful experience. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff next to Schoolhouse Pond.
