While you're here at Sawyer Pond, you could also go to striking Sawyer Ponds; get dripping wet paddling on Millers River - Lower. Sawyer Pond is a location with many visitors from Keene. Why not camp at Purple Meadow Campground since you're here at Sawyer Pond, and going for a hike on the Sunrise Trail is always a perfect adventure. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sawyer Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. Sawyer Pond gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
