    If you are in Bristol county it's always a good idea to stop by Sawdy Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sawdy Pond you have to stop by Fedora Point. Nearby lakes? Sure, Devol Pond is near Sawdy Pond, and Stony Brook is close to Sawdy Pond and is always a bliss to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Hills has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Somerset/Fall River Area is a nice site to  
   spend a night or two.
Summertime highs at Sawdy Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sawdy Pond are in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Sawdy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Westport Camping Grounds is a pleasant location for that, and Brayton Point Beach is rather nearby
 
               if you're in a beach type of mood. Just can't get enough of Sawdy Pond. If you came to camp Green Oceans is a great place to do that, and unsurprisingly, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Stafford Pond is a lake nearby.
Montaup Country Club is a splendid golf course close by, and you can hit the beach if you want, Teddy Beach is practically right here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Sawdy Pond a wet spot; November is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Somerset, and the wonderful folks of Providence-New Bedford-Fall River like to hang out nearby.

Echo is a nice pond. I go all the time and always catch something. The biggest i caught was a 6.5 pound large mouth on a watermelon colored lizard. Good place for bass....Pond is mostly made up of kivers and mabey a few striped bass nothing orn thsn 2.5 pounds.  Takes about an hour, fish are extremly smart and picky.  You are better off with brickyard which has fish up to 40 pounds and trout...Pond has very nice sized bass in it, they are biting all year, the only thing that stinks is the trolling motor only rule after memorial day weekend...
