While you're here at Sawdy Pond you have to stop by Fedora Point. Nearby lakes? Sure, Devol Pond is near Sawdy Pond, and Stony Brook is close to Sawdy Pond and is always a bliss to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Hills has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Somerset/Fall River Area is a nice site to       spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Sawdy Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sawdy Pond are in the 10's. There's so much to do here at Sawdy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Westport Camping Grounds is a pleasant location for that, and Brayton Point Beach is rather nearby                  if you're in a beach type of mood.
