Sam Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Lakes? Sure, Micah Pond is nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bumps River is a stream you can pop by during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Cape Cod National Seashore while you're here at Sam Pond. Wianno Beach is a beach near Sam Pond that you can stop by, and if you need a place to stay Cape Winds Resort (Vri) is a pleasant choice.

| | gets a great deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Not far from Sam Pond, you'll locate Joshua Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Barnstable Town for sure. A great close by hotel is The Santuit Inn, and if you came to camp Yarmouth Campgrounds is a brilliant spot to do that.

to Sam Pond. A wonderful beach in close proximity to Sam Pond is Dowses Beach. There's so much to do here at Sam Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Otis Trailer Village John's Pond Campgro is a pleasant place for that. This
lake is so wonderful. You have to check out Baxter Neck when you're here at Sam Pond, and for you golfers we recommend close by Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course. During the long summer days at Sam Pond highs are ordinarily
in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sam Pond fall into the 10's.

It's a cool campground to go to but if you like to stay out late stay away because they come around at like ten and make everyone go bad to their own camp sites and you can't stay at that play ground. And if you don't go back to your campsite when they make their second rounds the rangers chase you on golf carts. Which is pretty fun because you have to out run them. But everything else is pretty chill.... |
