Summertime highs at Ryder Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Ryder Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are fine; and Mayo Beach next to Ryder Pond is no exception,       and if you came to camp Paine's Campground is a splendid place to do that. You might want to pay a visit to Brush Valley while you're here at Ryder Pond, and enjoy a round of golf at Highland Golf. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Ryder Pond. Four Points By Sheraton Eastham Cape Cod is a glorious place to get some rest; don't leave Ryder Pond without first going for a hike along the Great Island                  Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you get bored of Ryder Pond, you could also have a look at nearby Snow Pond, and a brilliant close by hotel is Captains Quarters Motel. Ryder Pond gets lots of water; most of the rain falls during November, and July on the other hand is the driest. Swamps like Featherbed Swamp near Ryder Pond make for great places to take a look at, and there's great hiking along the Small Swamp Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Cape Cod National Seashore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and a quick spree to Bound Brook is positively a perfect idea. Go for a hike on the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail. There's so much to do here at Ryder Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maurice's Campground is a glorious spot for that. A lake close by is Round Pond; you acquire a delightful sight of Cannon Hill from here.
