This lake is so wonderful. At Lower Mill Pond Dam in the vicinity of Round Pond there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and a glorious beach nearby is Paine's Creek Beach. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Round Pond you can take a hike along the Buttonbush Trail, and why not camp at Shady Knoll Campground       if you're here at Round Pond. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Round Pond has it all. The fine folks of Barnstable Town like to hang out close by. A great swamp next to Round Pond is Herring River Marshes; Colony Beach Oceanfront Motel is a great spot to get some rest. Going for a hike along the Great Island Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and since you're here, do take a tour to Bells Neck. For the period                  of the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Round Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Round Pond. After a long day outdoors Jonathan Edwards Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Old Chatham Road Recreational Vehicle. Round Pond is a pretty wet place typically with a lot of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Lakes are pleasant; Littlefields Pond is a lake that's close to Round Pond; a golf course close by is Harwichport Golf Club. And that's not all you can do here at Round Pond.
