The beauty of Round Hill Pond is reason enough to stop by. Whitewater paddling is great on Westfield River - West Branch. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Round Hill Pond has to offer, you can camp at Bonny Rigg Camping Club. and a quick visit to Abbott Brook is unquestionably a nice idea. Stay the night at Walker Island Camping, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Walker Brook.
Have a
good hiking adventure along the Richard Trail; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Pittsfield. And that's not all you can do here at Round Hill Pond. After a long day outdoors Lee Super 8 Motel is a great site
to spend a night or two, and Gobble Mountain is picturesque and can be observed from here. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Round Hill Pond has it all.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Spring Trail,
and the skiing at Otis Ridge is great. The Volcanic Crater is a perfect site, and lakes are such serene spots, why not check out Excalibur Lake.
