Why not stop by Rockwell Pond if you're passing through these parts. Stay the night at Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds; after a long day outdoors Leominster/Fitchburg Super 8 Motel is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. | | from Rockwell Pond, and Baker Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Rockwell Pond. High temperatures at Rockwell Pond during the warm months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton Leominster, and Rockwell Pond is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Pine Campgrounds is a fine location to camp nearby.
A lake nearby is Notown Reservoir, and there are some great whitewater spots on Stony Brook. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Rockwell Pond called the Wapack Trail; there are plenty of people from Worcester here at Rockwell
Pond. You can take a little spree to Rockwell Pond Dam while you're here at Rockwell Pond, and an afternoon playing golf at Maplewood Golf Course is always a pleasure. Very lovely scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at
Wachusett Mountain, and Pierce Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Rockwell Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
