It's always fun to stop by Rockwell Pond. You could also go to Barrett Pond if you're here at Rockwell Pond; it's close by, and glide down the rapids of Stony Brook in a kayak. Nearby lakes? Sure, Colburns Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Rockwell Pond, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Wachusett Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds, and get dripping wet paddling on Souhegan River.

| | For the period of the months of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Rockwell Pond. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Rockwell Pond. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Rockwell Pond. Good hiking is available along the Mitchell Hill Road, and a tremendous spot to camp here at Rockwell Pond is Pine Campgrounds. | |
