    It's always fun to stop by Rockwell Pond. You could also go to Barrett Pond if you're here at Rockwell Pond; it's close by, and glide down the rapids of Stony Brook in a kayak. Nearby lakes? Sure, Colburns Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Rockwell Pond, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Wachusett Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Plaza Court Motel and Campgrounds, and get dripping wet paddling on Souhegan River.
 
   For the period of the months of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Rockwell Pond. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Rockwell Pond. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Rockwell Pond. Good hiking is available along the Mitchell Hill Road, and a tremendous spot to camp here at Rockwell Pond is Pine Campgrounds.  
               Lots of precipitation falls at Rockwell Pond; during November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September.
There's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Rockwell Pond Dam next to Rockwell Pond; the fine folks of Worcester like to hang out nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Leominster/Fitchburg Super 8 Motel, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Rockwell Pond; Wapack Trail is a brilliant local trail. Be careful coming to Rockwell Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Four Points By Sheraton Leominster is a delightful choice, and playing golf is lots of fun at Maplewood Golf Course. If you're here at Rockwell Pond, you could stop by Baker Brook, and you can catch a sight of Bayberry Hill from Rockwell Pond.
