     Contoocook River is a good whitewater spot next to Ridgley Pond, and it's a good idea to have a look at Bailey Brook. Dolbier Hill is uncomplicated to spot from Ridgley Pond, and there are delightful places to look at along the White Dot Trail. All through the summertime highs here at Ridgley Pond reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's  
   overnight here at Ridgley Pond. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Pine Ridge, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Super 8 Gardner.
Why not check out Ridgley Pond Dam if you're here, and Otter River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out. This place, Ridgley Pond, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Go for a hike on the Parker Trail. Ridgley Pond is a good place of typical rainfall; of all the months in a year May is
 
               the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
Yeah, come here to Ridgley Pond for a pleasant time. Ridgley Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lamb City Campground & Variety is a pleasant local campground, and Colonial Hotel is a good place to get some rest. You can run the rapids of Millers River in the vicinity of Ridgley Pond. There's so much to do here at Ridgley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Peaceful Pines is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Templewood Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by, and if you're here, you could also check out lovely East Templeton Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Wachusett Mountain, and going for a hike on the Harling Trail is always a splendid adventure.

This Lake with little public access. Forget about using a motor boat. A canoe/kayak maybe. Fishing may be ok, but don't keep/eat what you catch. MA has serious mercury warnings posted....

They have a swimming pool, game room, kid's playground. There are always people ready for a game of horseshoes. They have a pavillion for bingo games, DJ's and dancing. The rates are reasonable for seasonal and weekender sites, only minutes from Worcester....

Rode it today.... lost 5 canoes on it as it rained last night and transformed into Class IV rapids.... Luckily we rescued 1 canoe and all 12 people got safely off of the river....

Ahhh good ol Heywood's used to be a great lake for swimming with rope swings that threw you out 80 feet into the water. but since then many things have changed people caught on to the fun nites out there , and police started showing up and now the whole place ''all the trees'' have been cut down  above the apple orchard, so no swimming there or you will be hit with a fine of up to 500$...
