If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Redds Pond. Bradford is a very popular ski area nearby, and camping at Prospect Lake Park is always a great experience. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cohasset Tidal Rip, and a day at Gas House Basin is time well spent. Light Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. You just should go for Redds Pond. One of the best things about Redds Pond is its proximity to Fort Beach, and don't leave Redds Pond without first checking out Castle Rock. Summer
brings highs in the 80's to Redds Pond. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Redds Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Redds
