Bradford is a very popular ski area nearby, and camping at Prospect Lake Park is always a great experience. At Redds Pond you can see Burial Hill; don't miss out on a tour to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Redds Pond is in the vicinity of Boden Rocks which is certainly worth stopping at, and since you might       be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Black Joe Pond. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact plentiful here at Redds Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cohasset Tidal Rip, and a day at Gas House Basin is time well spent. Redds Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is August. Head up to Blue Hills and strap                  some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Redds Pond, you'll locate Flag Pond which is a striking lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Tedesco Country Club is in the neighborhood. If you need a site to stay Marblehead Inn is a magnificent choice; taking a little journey to nearby Beverly Cove is a wonderful idea. Why not have a look at Marblehead Harbor since you're here, and after a long day outdoors Harbor Light Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. You just should go for Redds Pond. One of the best things about Redds Pond is its proximity to Fort Beach, and don't leave Redds Pond without first checking out Castle Rock. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Redds Pond. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Redds Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
