Looking for some flowing water? Try Middle River, and there's whitewater on Clear and Branch for all you thrill seekers. The high level of rainfall makes Quinsigamond Pond a relatively wet site; November is
the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is September. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Quinsigamond Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sutton Falls Camping Area; the best way to spend a winter
day is on the slopes of close by Pine Ridge.
If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you ought to schedule some time for it if you're here, and Quinsigamond Pond is not far at all
