     Hiking is a popular thing to do around Quinebaug River Reservoir; Walkabout Trail is a nice local trail; soar down the rapids of Quaboag River in a kayak. If you're looking for a beach near Quinebaug River Reservoir, we recommend Woodstock Town Beach. Lots of people from Willimantic come to Quinebaug River Reservoir, and don't leave Quinebaug River Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Border Trail. Throughout the days of summer, highs commonly  
   are in the 80's at Quinebaug River Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Quinebaug River Reservoir nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Quinebaug River Reservoir. Diversion Dam is pretty and it's in the vicinity of Quinebaug River Reservoir; if you're here you can play some golf
 
               at Royal Oaks Country Club. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be. Comfort Inn & Suites Colonial is a great location to get some rest, and a trip to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. A pretty lake like Carpenter Pond in the vicinity of Quinebaug River Reservoir is a good spot to stop at; if you need a site to stay Passport Inn - Sturbridge is a great choice.
This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Munyan Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Pine Ridge is relatively near. There's so much to do here at Quinebaug River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Charlton Applewood Campgrounds is a brilliant spot for that; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Cohasse Brook. All the water falling down from the sky makes Quinebaug River Reservoir a wet place; most of the rain falls through November while February is regularly the driest month.
Lensdale Pond is a great lake close to Quinebaug River Reservoir; get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp The Woodlot Campground is a brilliant site to do that, and here at Quinebaug River Reservoir you can make out Blackmer Hill.
