Dry warm beds await you at Sturbridge Super 8 Motel, and the vista of wonderful Blanchard Hill is good. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Quaboag River; you can stay the night at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park. Quaboag Pond is a relatively wet place generally with a large amount of rain; most       of the rain falls all through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A pleasant swamp near Quaboag Pond is Allen Swamp; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites Colonial is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Dunn Brook is a great spot to pop by; a lake nearby is Quacumquasit Pond. Quaboag Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day,                  Lakeside Resort is a great place to camp nearby; a day on the slopes of Pine Ridge is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Wachusett Mountain is brilliant, and Quaboag Pond is not the only place nearby, Claypit Pond is a nearby lake. High temperatures at Quaboag Pond through the summer months are in the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Quaboag Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's.
