Bradford has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and Putnamville Reservoir West Dike is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Hills is a very popular ski area around here; Prospect Lake Park is a brilliant local campground. The high level of rain makes Putnamville Reservoir a quite       wet place; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while August is ordinarily the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Putnamville Reservoir. Lakes are splendid; Danvers Reservoir is a lake that's close to Putnamville Reservoir, and some close by water includes Fish Brook. What a place this is for outdoors folks. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day it's a glorious idea to spend the                  day at Dane Street Beach, and this is a popular location for folks from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy. For you golfers we recommend nearby New Meadows Golf Club; after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Boston/Danvers is a good place to spend a night or two. Not far from Putnamville Reservoir, you'll hit upon Mill Pond which is a gorgeous lake; if you came for an overnight stay Lorraine Park Campground is a perfect place to camp. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a very magnificent location to visit next to Putnamville Reservoir; a great close by hotel is Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel. Summer at Putnamville Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
