Puffer Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A delightful place to camp here at Puffer Pond is Star Camps, and if you come at the right time of year, Assabet River offers some splendid whitewater. After a long day outdoors Sheraton Framingham Hotel is a splendid location to spend a night or two; on a brilliant day it's a good idea to spend the day at Memorial Beach. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area next to Puffer Pond has to offer. 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Puffer Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Charles River, and if time allows, Blackstone River
Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth a visit. A nice nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Framingham, and Puffer Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Northport Campground is a splendid local campground.
Puffer Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. Elizabeth Brook is close to Puffer Pond and is always a joy to take a look at; Maynard Country Club is a golf course close by.
