Puffer Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The high level of rainfall makes Puffer Pond a quite wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Just can't get enough of Puffer Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Wayside Inn, and if you're here, you could go to Elizabeth Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Northport Campground since you're here

| | at Puffer Pond, and a round of golf at nearby Maynard Country Club is a tremendous way to kill some time. Puffer Pond is near Ben Smith Dam which is a picturesque site definitely worth stopping at, and the peak of Summer Hill can be spotted from Puffer Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Minuteman KOA is a delightful place to camp; Charles River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. A lake nearby is Assabet River | |

Reservoir, and if you haven’t been to Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, you must schedule some time for it if you're here. On a great day you can pop by Iron Ore Bog, a swamp right next door to Puffer Pond, and
if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Assabet River. Summertime highs at Puffer Pond usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The winter brings
highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Puffer Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. During your stay at Puffer Pond do take a look at nearby Memorial Beach; Clarion Carriage House Inn Sudbury is a glorious place to get some rest.
