If you like lakes and you're in this part of Massachusetts you can check out Prospect Lake. Prospect Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a nice little tour to Fenton Brook; going for a hike along the Northrop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. If you like

from Hudson come to Prospect Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Butternut; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Housatonic River. Stay the night at Taconic
State Park Copake Falls; if you come at the right time of year, Bash Bish Brook offers some brilliant whitewater. The warmest time of the year at Prospect Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down
to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Prospect Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Egremont Country Club not far from Prospect
Lake; hiking along the Elbow Trail is good fun. Take a hike on the Indian Trail, and Holiday House Motel is a wonderful site to get some rest. A wonderful swamp near Prospect Lake is Marsh Pond, and glorious skiing awaits you at Catamount.
