Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Root Pond next to Prospect Lake, and if you came to camp Taconic State Park Copake Falls is a fine location to do that. Mill Pond is a magnificent lake near Prospect Lake, and going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a splendid adventure. Prospect Lake is in close proximity to Prospect Lake Dam which is a delightful location unquestionably worth going

| | to, and a quick journey to Fenton Brook is beyond doubt a magnificent idea. Camping at Fox Hill Camping Area is always a delightful experience; get dripping wet paddling on Housatonic River. There are plenty of people from Hudson here at Prospect Lake. At Prospect Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Northrop Trail, and after a long day outdoors Chambery Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. And if
you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. The skiing at Ski Butternut is perfect, and the peak of Baldwin Hill can be made out from Prospect Lake. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Prospect Lake
is so good! While you're here at Prospect Lake you can play some golf at Egremont Country Club; Great Barrington Days Inn is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps are exciting places and Marsh Pond
in close proximity to Prospect Lake is no exception; whitewater paddling is pleasant on Bash Bish Brook. A day on the slopes of Catamount is just what you need; you can go for a hike on the Elbow Trail. A common amount of rainfall
falls here at Prospect Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February.
