    If you are in this part of Massachusetts make sure to pay a visit to Power Canal Reservoir. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Deerfield River, and if you need a place to stay Greenfield Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. The Narrows is a splendid spot to spend some time at, and hey, Gotta ski right? Living Memorial Park is a delightful location to do that. At Power Canal Reservoir during the days of summer highs  
   are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Power Canal Reservoir.
Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Sunset Trail, and while you're here here do go to close by Horse Race. This lake is so wonderful. The nice folks of Springfield like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Mohawk Park is a delightful campground here, and time
 
               spent at Greenfield Beach is always magnificent.
While you're here at Power Canal Reservoir you can take a hike along the Sunrise Trail; the view of Canada Hill is striking. What a place this is for outdoors folks. There's whitewater on Millers River - Lower for all you adrenaline junkies, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Oakridge Golf Club. After a long day outdoors The Greenfield Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two; don't miss out on a good swamp; White Ash Swamp is right here at Power Canal Reservoir.
Power Canal Reservoir regularly gets a large amount of rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. A journey to The Cascades will fill your soul with perfect feelings, and do have a look at Turners Falls Canal Headgates while you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things right next door to Power Canal Reservoir. Barton Cove is close by and always perfect to visit, and Connecticut River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
If you came for an overnight stay Barton Cove is a good site to camp, and if you're here, you could explore Deerfield River.
