This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Select BOSTON-WOBURN is a magnificent place to get some rest, and beaches are perfect and Silver Lake Town Beach is no exception. All through the long summer days at Pomps Pond highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall       down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Pomps Pond temperatures drop to the 10's. Mishawum Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and near Pomps Pond you hit upon a golf course called Woburn Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. An out of the ordinary thing to go to right next door to Pomps Pond is Mill Pond South Dike; Lorraine Park Campground is a nice local campground. Pomps                  Pond truly is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. If you get bored of Pomps Pond, you could also take a look at close by Mill Pond. Paddling on Concord River is so much fun; Pomps Pond is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Camp Cedar is a glorious location to camp nearby. What a place this is for outdoors people. Skiing at Blue Hills is one of those things you just should do, and don't forget to take a great little tour to Fowle Brook. The summit of Blueberry Mountain can be observed from Pomps Pond, and if you're visiting from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, you won't be the only one. Looking for a good spree? Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is rather right next door to Pomps Pond, and get wet paddling on Charles River.
