    What a nice lake Pomps Pond is. Throughout the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Pomps Pond while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Pomps Pond. Lorraine Park Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and there's whitewater on Charles River for all you adrenaline junkies. Do pay a visit to Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation  
   Area if you're here at Pomps Pond, and Woburn Country Club is a golf course nearby.
Gotta ski! Bradford is a pleasant place to do that, and Mill Pond South Dike is gorgeous. Pomps Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and August is when it's the driest. Pomps Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Camp Cedar is a good place to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Mishawum Lake is in the neighborhood.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Concord River, and if you need a place to stay Sierra Suites Woburn is a glorious choice. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Pomps Pond has it all. Very striking scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Blue Hills. And that's not all you can do here at Pomps Pond. Here at Pomps Pond there are plenty of people from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, and the panorama of Blueberry Mountain is delightful.
This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day it's a great idea to spend the day at Silver Lake Town Beach, and let's not forget Fowle Brook which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. There are other places here than Pomps Pond, for example Mill Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Select BOSTON-WOBURN.
