This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Plashes Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Barnstable Town, and since you're here, you could also go to gorgeous Halfway Pond. If you need a location to stay Red Mill Motel is a magnificent choice; there's tremendous hiking along the Red Maple Swamp Trail. Go for a hike on the Great Island Trail, and Seine Pond       is a nearby lake that you could visit. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Plashes Pond get into the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Plashes Pond dip into the 10's. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Plashes Pond. Good hiking is available along the                  Buttonbush Trail, and Plashes Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Bass River Trailer Park is a great spot to camp nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Plashes Pond. If you're here at Plashes Pond, do take a tour to Parkers Neck, and beaches are splendid and Parkers River Beach is no exception. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a great view of German hill from Plashes Pond; Gull Wing Suites is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Plashes Pond you locate a golf course called Blue Rock Par 3 Golf Course, and Cape Cod National Seashore is a very nice site to stop by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Plashes Pond has to offer, you can camp at Yarmouth Campgrounds, and Thachers Beach is a beach close by that you can explore. Plashes Pond generally gets a great deal of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; July meanwhile is the driest month.
