Pistol Pond typically gets much precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is       February. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Natchaug River, and hey, Cedar Brook is a great local stream. The summit of Fiske Hill can be made out from Pistol Pond; an attention-grabbing thing to stop at near Pistol Pond is Cedar Pond Dam. Get drenched paddling on Quaboag River, and people from Willimantic love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Very lovely scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Pine Ridge, and of course, this is a tremendous                  neighborhood for people who like lakes, Cedar Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. So many amusing things to do here at Pistol Pond, too great to be true. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Pistol Pond. If you need a spot to stay Scottish Inns Sturbridge is a wonderful choice, and a round of golf at nearby Royal Oaks Country Club is a nice way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Woodstock Town Beach in the neighborhood of Pistol Pond is time well spent, and if you came for an overnight stay Outdoor world Campground is a splendid place to camp. For the period of the warm months at Pistol Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's.
